Gotham Knights will be released on October 21st for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5. The trailer also offers a catchup on the story, which seems to take place after Batman: Arkham Knight, so it’ll be nice to see that version of the Arkham-verse continue. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight. The player explores the world and fights enemies with the help of a dynamic system. Most of the mechanics of the game is arcade. Each of them has unique equipment and fighting style as well as separate skill trees and costume enhancement options. In either solo-play or with one other hero, patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it. There are four characters to choose from in Gotham Knights - Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood. Gotham Knights features the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. Gotham Knights is an open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet. There will be Ray Traced reflections, multi-monitor support, and though nothing has been announced in terms of Steam Deck (we have reached out for comment), the fact it supports FSR and the like suggests it could be a good one to check out there, if indeed it is supported.
